What better way to enjoy the rugged and wild terrain of Wales with his friends to become truly ends of the earth in an adventure of survival for a half day in the Lleyn Peninsula. You will get muddy; you will learn and laugh your way through the course that offers much more than a day. You are about to enter the world of survival Bear Grylls as he embarks on an adventure half a day to learn new survival skills and prove themselves in time and wild terrain of North Wales.
We start our day, we sat around a fire burning at the base camp to learn the basics of survival; Do, what not to do and priorities in situations of actual survival. Once we covered the basics, we were escorted to a tent in the preparation of our latest video Bear Grylls himself. Even at this stage, we can expect to get dirty, rub mud on the face and break the ice with others on the course. Immediately, we are immersed in a survival mode, running through the woods to get to our first ski course where we learned to make a fire. Of course, doing the Bear Grylls would provide no path using lighters and matches, but the typical found in survival situations things; a valuable skill for everyone.
Then we ran to our next station to learn the art of building a safe and strong enough to protect us against the elements (in a survival scenario), as evidenced by one of the shelter survival experts. Again, no help here, but to use the resources of the natural environment surrounded us, which made it even more difficult, but very rewarding. Build with others, this task has really brought the competitive side in us. Once built, gave us guidance on the areas that could be improved before we rushed to the next station.
This time, we learned the basics of natural foods. Here we had the opportunity to try some plant foods you can expect to find in nature. We also showed the type of foods we should avoid in nature, as well as techniques to help us understand whether they are harmful if in doubt. It was a pleasure for us because it means we were able to try things we never tried before; even a couple of worms and insects!
Just as we thought the course could not be better to go to the next step, we had to go into town and go over and pass under a series of obstacles through the forest of soft mud, soaked. Then the real challenge began. Practice on ropes hung from the trees, which proved the best way to get through a shallow muddy water channel. It was really a challenge, as only two of us went to the other side without getting wet also adds a great sense of accomplishment. Soon, however, we were hit by the realization that we were going regardless wet - very wet indeed.
To escape the Log Cabin, it was our mission to follow the path that leads back to the base camp. If you're like me, you avoid being completely muddy to the point where the only way left to take is to be knee-deep in muddy water. Needless to say, it was quite a shock to me as it was for someone else, having avoided the muddy water here. But I must say, walking along, knee deep in mud and water was my favorite part of the day. It was fun; It was liberating and totally not what I expected.
Once back on land, take a light jog back to camp before heating with a hot drink before a wood fire which was a very nice way to end the day. Everyone had a smile on their faces, and adventure truly offers something for everyone, whether new skills and a sense of fun and adventure. That is why it is very good for those who really want to do something different, have fun and get a little muddy so.
The business park and adventure also offered Segway paintball meant that you could spend half a day doing an activity and the other half to do something different that is perfect for birthdays, bachelor parties or even like us who wanted a day, a day to do something different.
